Thread: Fender 'lips' on certain SE-R's?

Here's a pic of my brothers Red SE-R with the Fender 'lip' (I dont know what its called) and heres my SE-R it doesnt have it Did certain models come with this from the factory? Stupid thread, Just wondering lol

I think its just aftermarket trim (like the chrome kind) that's been color-matched at some point.

I have seen alot SE-R's with that trim on them. I think it may have been a factory option. Like I said I have seen tons of them including mine. It was the first thing I took off along with the pin stripe.

When I worked at Coral Springs Nissan, we put that on all the new cars for people. It's just a strip of rubber with glue on the back to protect from car door dings. Works great, I am sure you could pick some up online or maybe they would just give you some at the dealer.

Haha, I thought I was going to see some bling bling chrome fender flares, maybe with some chrome hammer wheels.

I think its just something silly that people used to do to cars like those black plastic headlight covers.

im telling you guys, its done my the dealer to prevent dings.

Is it just me or do the slotted/drilled rotors look like they are on the wrong side?
