Are you sure thats a 94??? It has a Highport motor, 91-92 Tail lights, 91-92 interior, 91-92 Cluster??? Also if it were me I would source the entire Dash Harness, engine harness, and all the relays.

Good luck on it though. If you decide to buy all the harnesses I have 2 dash harnesses. from 91 se-r

the motor is jdm - no emissions. It honestly could be a 91 or 92. Ill look at the vin tonight.

My brother(MercerSX on here) and I pulled the tranny off last night and found out i have a bigger problem than i thought. It look like all of the flywheel bolts stripped out from the crank. Both the flywheel and crank look like they are beyond repair which brimgs me to my next question.

I have another sr20de that came with the car but it was overheated. I coulp possibly use the crank out of that motor. Or i coud get a cheap de and swap it in. Id like to swap a bluebird in there but I dont anywhere near that much money. What do you all think?

I also tried to take pics of every step so I will post all of them later.

Here is the crank

Here is the flywheel

And all the metal shavings in the tranny

I also think you have a 91-92. CHeck the vin sticker near the drivers door striker. Bring it back to life mang.

Looks like they used the bolts from the JDM DE on the flywheel. Their shorter and they fail motors. You can swap the crank and fly from the other motor just be really careful. SR motors have very tight tolerances from the factory.

Looks like a 91-92 to me too. I don't see any 93/4 traits on it.

It probably had an aftermarket coil wired in. They were popular several years back. Go find a u-pull junkyard and get some parts. G20s and other B13s will be your friend. That coil goes for like $5 at mine.

If he swaps the crank he has to do the bearings as well correct?

changing out the crank is going to be a lot of work, someone donate an engine to a good cause so we can keep this thread going strong!

I have all the pics from pulling the tranny. Should I post them in this thread or start a new one?
