Why is there such a big sag on the chain? shouldn't it be pretty tight?

after i pulled the tensioner out the cam moved a bit. i believe there should be 20 chain lengths between the two timing marks on the cam gears. after i made sure all the timing marks were set, and put the tensioner back in there wasnt much sag.

btw, i was told this head had some kind of special retainer to keep the valves from floating after 7000 rpm. anybody know anything about this?

I don't think we reattached the altenater wire to the pos, I think thats why it died. But it still wont idle anyways, any ideas?

I cant make any promises but ill check my spareparts and give you the headlight if i have it. Im in festus. Where you at in missouri? I could use some help putting my trans in. I have fifth gear pop-out issues. Let me know if your interested.

Ya, we had a hell of a time getting the the spedo gear out to put his cable spedo gear in. He also replaced the driver side axle seal tonight because it was leaking but other than that, it shifts smooth and has doesnt pop out of 5th lol

btw, what year is that tranny? i thought all the 91-94 sentras had a cable spedo.

nope 91-92=cable 93-94=electric. That speed sensore was given me some problems as well haha how did you get it out?
