If you'd have read the thread I linked to, you'd have found out they still sell them. Just checked the web site again. Yep. Still there.

Sorry, I didn't. Anyway, there's the info on the NISMO hangers if anybody wants them.

Edit: I seem to recall that a pure swap uses the 10mm ones, which Kartboy no longer makes (and aren't listed on their website). But apparently you figured out a way to make the 15mm's work?

The 10mm ones were ditched in favor of the 12mm ones because the 10mm ones would almost need a press to put them on. The 12mm ones are the right ones.
At the time I couldn't find the 12mm ones either (didn't look hard enough) and just got the 15mm ones they had available and "made them work". I wish I'd got the 12mm ones. =(

Stock there are 3 on the muffler, 1 by the gas tank and 2 by the cat. The 2 by the cat are longer than the other 4. You should get 2 "long" ones and 4 regular ones. Pic: http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs021.snc1/3051_99400250099_719285099_2979390_5937389_n.jpg

What are you using them for? I used them because the weight of the magnaflow res and SS VRS piping was too much for the stock hangers and it was making noise down below. For me, I replaced all of the hangers around the res and piping, and I think I only did one for the muffler and kept the rest stock.

Regarding the influence of the solid vs non-solid hangers, after getting the NISMO hangers on I could tell a big diff in vibrations, especially through the gear lever. However, it was not annoying at all, and today I don't even notice it when going from my Dad's stock Egg to my car. It isn't like the whole car is rattling around now with these hangers. At least in my case.

well, I'm eventually going to have 2.5" all the way back.. and I want to start getting all of my parts together so I can do it right the first time and not be without a car... i have a 2.5" header so far, and a 3" test pipe I got for free, but I haven't decided on what I'm going to do beyond that. I am thinking of getting 3" muffler connections and resonator just in case I decide to go turbo one day, I won't have to buy a new muffler and resonator... and if I do that, I figured I'd need something that held everything closer to the car to keep from scraping..
