You can not use the stock SR20DE ECU on an SR20DET and expect it to work well. The injectors on the DET are bigger, the MAFs are different, etc. etc.

here is the link to the Engine i found . Its a Bluebird swap for 1,425 shipped. Nissan SR20DE-T JDM Engine Swap BlueBird U12 200SX, G20 - $1,425.00.

If you can not use the stock sr20de ecu , what ecu would you use then?? the
SR20DET ecu? could you use the stock SR20DE ecu and use a apexi safc or something to tune A/F ratio , fuel curves etc?

I'm not very knowledgeable about sourcing SR20DET engines. Other people could help you in that department a lot better. Maybe start a new thread?
I do know a lot of people have had luck with tiger Japanese, so you might want to look more into something like this:

Tiger Japanese Auto Parts LTD - SR20 DET DOHC Engine only Turbo Nissan Infiniti G20

Yes, the stock SR20DET ECU would be a great place to start. Or get familiar with the name Calum (hint).

Yes, there are ways of making the SR20DE ECU work, but it's not going to be as easy as just using a SAFC. You're going to have to compensate for the incorrect timing map too. There are also probably a few smaller things that are problematic. Point is, it's easier and cheaper in the long run to get the right ECU.

I see you have a JWT ECU though... You could probably send it in to JWT for a re-flash and $100 later you'll have what you need.

Thanks i saw that SR20DET at tiger japense for 690 to. They want 190 for the wiring harness and 150 for the ecu. I just called and talked to them though and they will sell me both the ecu and harness for 300 , so it would be 990 for the swap and then 250 to ship so 1240 total. not bad at all. All i would have to do then is find a intercooler setup.
