Did I blow my motor..!?!?!
Before I tell you the story, I did try to search this and the old forum, and I have a VE btw....

Okay I left work around 8pm. I was going on the ramp on I-405, and I was hittin' lift in 1st and 2nd gear, but before I hit 60mph, my car wouldn't accelerate anymore. It bogs, and I cant rev past 2,500 rpms...

I pulled over to the shoulders and put in Nuetral, and rev it and it still wouldn't rev past 2.5k rpms still

My car can still move, but I just can't rev past 2.5k

Oh yeah, towing was $210.80....FTL! (That could have been some suspension or performance parts. F*CK!

Any input anyone?

Sounds like limp home mode, and I guess from what the others have said, it's the MAF.

Were your lights dimming? I had the same thing happen and it was the alternator.

The alternator wouldn't have anything to do with the bumping at 2.5K.

The ECU isnt getting the MAF's signal. So it puts its self in limp mode.

Check the cable and connection. If problem still happens just replace the MAF.

Umm, yes it would, low voltage will cause the fuel pump to be sporatic. Like I mentioned, it happened to me.
