Thread: Dyno'd the B13 today

I got a free run at a local shop in exchange for some photography I did for them. I strapped down on a DynoMite Dyno and turned the rollers to the tune of 143.9HP and 130.3lbs./ft. @ 5800 rpm. I was impressed at how healthy my motor is even at 243k. My mods are: Hotshot Gen. 3, Homemade CAI with HKS Super-Megaflow, Magnaflow muffler, and timing. I also just changed my plugs to the NGK V-Powers (the cheapie ones PKR5E or something). My exhaust piping is stock too. I'll try to get my sheet posted up when I get a chance. Lemme know what you guys think.

Looks good Joe, You should check your gap and timing to see why your falling off at the top. Looks like peak power was made a little early @ 5800. Also your peak torque was also around 142 ft/lbs @ 5300.


Look around at different graphs, but it looks strong. Just remember to keep things relative by using the same dyno if possible.

I'm suspecting that I am making peak more at the 6k side of things. I checked out some other graphs from other dynos and it seems there is a 200rpm difference between the Land and Sea Dyno and the Dynojet Dyno. I.E. cars were peaking at 5800rpm on the Land and Sea and the same cars were peaking at 6k on the Dynojet graphs
