Where do I start?
Well, a new beginning. So Ill treat this like an AA meeting:

Hello, my name is Andrew. Im a b13 owner. 91 aztec red. sr20ve, emanage blue, ssac header and dp, msd-8969, nx9-xtss clutch kit.

I just now, about 20 minutes ago actually, got myself caught up on current events. I can honestly say that im sick to my stomach. Throughout this entire endeavor that is my first car, first sr20de, now first sr20ve; All the trial and error, all the research and effort put into my car with the help from the community, this is the last thing in the world I expected to happen. Not to us, not the sr20forum.

The entire duration from the date i signed up on the forum up until today I have done nothing but preach the greatness that was the sr20forum. All the people involved in the community, all the help, advice, support, everything. Our forum was better for that reason. I have never respected an existence of data so much as i did the forum. Anytime there was something wrong, any question, any bit of doubt or even a problem, moral conflict, debate, topic of interest i would go to the forum. It was my backbone, what gave me confidence in what I intended to do to my car.

Which is why I am happy to see Calum, Serban, Harris, and all the other who helped me along the way.

In closure, b13 > all

I am also a B13 addict. Current set-up is a 10:1 uk motor with a GTiR kit on it minus one hot-side pipe. Firing it up under boost in 3 days god-willing.

This looks to be a good new home for us. The guys like Calum, Serb, Miko (has Greg come with?) who REALLY know the cars, and those of us who hoped we've learned a little bit from them, seem to be coming here. Crim (Stephen) who built the site is a local (Atlanta) and I vouch for him 100%. The guys who take care of us should no doubt continue paying their dues on the old site as so many people who need services (and stuff) will continue there.

The ve makes for a fun street bug, doesn't it? Now if I only had bottomless pockets so I could get one of Miko's VET's :-)

Take your time and build a SR23VE. I dont think you would want anything else. That right there would be a mid 12 sec car with no problems and would be 100% reliable. 250 WHP and 200LB Ft Torque would be outragous.

Make it a 1.5 year trek.

haha, id love to pick up a VET. Im on the wreckless path though. Once i get back on my feet im going to test out the VE stock internals with my T28. Ive watched a stock internal VE run over 350hp before so I want to test the weak internals thing. The only bug in my system is that im not nearly as intelligent about tuning as my amigo exxd is. How the power is made probably makes a large impact on how the internals react to the power increase.
