I under stand the concept of any type of vented hoods, but... not all hoods are created equal. Mike K had a discussion about vented hoods years ago, either on npm, scc or the old mailing list. Basically, he discussed how important it was for vent location for air coming in(some parts of the engine have higher temps than others... no duh), but venting the air out(bringing cooler in air, got to vent the warm air out somewhere).
I don't think I've ever seen a b13 vented hood that had any type of temperature test and then designed accordingly. Heck, I'd rock any type of vented hood, carbon fiber, fiberglass, or stock that actually lowered engine bay temps... proven.
It sure does look purty, though
