New guy with '92 SE-R
Sup everyone!

I hail from the land of 240s but just last night acquired a 92 Se-r with 121k miles on it. I know it needs a cv joint and probably a valve cover gasket, and I *think* it needs a motor mount, but the interior is pretty darned clean. I'm really stoked on it as it is a *BLAST* to drive.

It's a non-sunroof car, no 5th gear pop-out (yet?), motor feels plenty peppy, good clutch and cruise and a/c both work great.

The paint is really hammered, and I'm sad cruising through some pic threads to see beautiful se-r's. The body is pretty straight though I paid $1400 which seems like a great deal to me considering all the other se-r's I've seen around here on craigslist are really jacked.

I sr-swapped my 240 in June after a foray into a built ka24e-t that was torquey as hell but way more headache. I put in a redtop (like everyone else) and I'm loving it, as well.

Bad pics of the cars:

Ha, thanks. It's such a money pit that I wanted to find a little bit better DD, which is why I got the b13.

It's swapped, 3" turbo back w/ test pipe and HKS catback, 5 lug, q45/z32 brakes, stance coilovers, all adjustable control arms, JIC f+r strut bars, 17x9/17x9.5 rpf1s with 225/255 azenis, ST sway bars, s15 helical diff, sparco Evo2, brown->black interior swap, a couple autometer gauges and a wideband ---- plus a bunch of stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Fun at autox, but probably not as entertaining as the b13 will be . I'm mostly excited to own a car that's a blank slate instead of mostly done

Yeah, for racing, sometimes fun is a lot more fun than fast!

now i know the s13 is plenty quicker and all that but i will almost guarantee you will be lovin the b13 more. i have owned 2 240's before i got my 200sx, then after driving that around for about 4 months, i picked up a b13. and since 1 240 has been sold and the other is currently up for sale. although your 240 looks plenty sick
