New guy with '92 SE-R
Sup everyone!
I hail from the land of 240s but just last night acquired a 92 Se-r with 121k miles on it. I know it needs a cv joint and probably a valve cover gasket, and I *think* it needs a motor mount, but the interior is pretty darned clean. I'm really stoked on it as it is a *BLAST* to drive.
It's a non-sunroof car, no 5th gear pop-out (yet?), motor feels plenty peppy, good clutch and cruise and a/c both work great.
The paint is really hammered, and I'm sad cruising through some pic threads to see beautiful se-r's. The body is pretty straight though I paid $1400 which seems like a great deal to me considering all the other se-r's I've seen around here on craigslist are really jacked.
I sr-swapped my 240 in June after a foray into a built ka24e-t that was torquey as hell but way more headache. I put in a redtop (like everyone else) and I'm loving it, as well.
Bad pics of the cars:
