I'd like to see pics, too. I thought the baseball bat method caused ripples or waves to form in the panel.

I've always used the baseball bat method, but haven't had to do it on my 200sx. If I had to, I would definitely go out and buy a cheap wooden bat, and throw it away afterwards. Looks great, no ripples or creases, and doesn't take very long at all to do. Just DON'T use fiberglass, or metal bats. They don't work worth a damn, and can actually cause the ripple effect.

Good idea using a heat gun to soften the paint. I did mine in the summer on a 90 deg day - in the sun - no paint issues.
I'll snap some pics when I get back home from vacation next week.

I heard of many many people over the years using wood baseball bats and it turned out great, and not just on nissans either on all different types of cars. You just have to make sure that your taking your time with rolling them. Go slow with the car and only do about a 4-6 inch piece at a time so that it goes smoothly, using a heat gun work good also like already stated about the paint. Fender rolling doesn't have to get all technical like most people think. Wood baseball bats FTW!
