Thread: Bin request: B14 SR20VE, 370cc, t25, E60, 8000rpm

I've got a VE in my B14 and a complete turbo setup that will not be goin back on my B13 and figured I'd throw it on the VE as a factory boost daily.

SR20VE
370cc injectors (can obtain larger injectors)
E60 MAF
stock VE engine
Blow through
8000 rpm redline
T25 on either 7 or 9 psi, depending on which waste gate actuator I use.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

No, I'm going through boost withdrawals.

Boost + VE means no more off the internet tunes for you, especially with small back pressure and heat holding turbos. Just take up a DET E60 bin, and redo the fuel and timing maps and it should be close to what you need.

Either way 10.3:1 cr doesn't let you have any errors, you will have to get it fine tuned and watch detonation like a hawk.

I've read that a few guys were just using DET tunes and not changing anything and runnin just fine. My b13 is tuned for 10:1 t25 and should work fine, but that's b13 not b14. I need b14... Maybe I'll just throw everything in the SE-R an call it a day. What I really need is someone that can tune a Calum for me. I have a basic in both cars...

DET tune will sort of work, I had a ton of detonation down low with my DET tune on VE though. But my setup was running a log manifold...

Haha PA? That's pretty far from me. I know a few guys over here that can tune. My problem is that I have a Calum basic. And I hear they are time consuming to tune because you have to remove and flash the chips each time. Idk maybe I'll ask one of my buddies if they'd be willing to attempt it. I would give it a shot but I don't have a chip burner or a wideband. And I'm also not sure if it has a consult port on it. How do I plug into it to datalog it?

You have the consult port on your car, unless you got a B15/00+ P11. It's usually by the fuses.

As for tuning a basic, it is indeed painful. Dual ostrich setup does help with that though. Basically the ostriches let you tune it in real time, then burn it to your chips and install and your good to go.

So Vadim that Ostrich is Honda oriented stuff right? A ROMultator?

Glad to hear (read) would work on a B14 ECU

The ostrich really isn't "Honda" oriented.. you can use it on pretty much anything that takes a 28 pin chip.

Including the Z32 and KA24E 8 bit ECUs.
