Need a hand with an SR bin
So I've stumbled across this JDM ecu that is for the FWD SR OBD1, came in some P11's circa 1997 and it's (appears to be) an 8 bit ecu because its got a single 256k eprom soldered on the board. Pulled the 32k bin using calumsult then pulled it direct from the eprom after desoldering, compared and they were identical.

So i've already gone and installed a zif socket where the eprom was and now I need a hand with backing out the basic stuff fuel, timing, vq maps and with some luck the K constant to do a bit of fiddling.

I tried using the xdf's from some other 8 bit ecus like z32 but not so much success, thought I saw one fuel map but anyway i really don't know how to look at the bin and get that stuff, tried looking at it in "analyze" and maybe i've got it setup wrong but nothing sprang out at me

So just realized I can attach the file here, I could have sworn on the day I made the thread it said that I could not attach files, anyway here it is.

So its a 97 jdm p11 ecu?

I have duaghter boarded and tuned these ecu's no problem, although it is a different board to the p10 style one.

Probably not this ECU because I don't believe it needs a daughterboard.

The 'usual' JDM p11 is the one with the 20 x 30 header on board.

the other JDM type is identical (hardware) to the VE ecu, these came on the CVT models.

other types i have seen are the bosch from the UK P11 and I think it was also used on the euro models

So back on track is there anyone who can look at this bin for me?

Right so looking at it in analyze some more I think I see some stuff at the end of the bin.

this is what I have so far

6E00- some map

6F00- some map

7000- some map

7100- map fuel?

7600- timing map

7C00- timing map

7D00- map fuel?

7E00- water temp conversion table

if someone could verify for me and if you can identify normal and knock maps.

where would the scalars: rpm, speed limits, k constant and latency be hiding? Oh and need the VQ map and fuel/timing rpm scales as well.
