Thread: MAF Voltages (VQ Table)

Awesome thank you , updated. The low voltages seem a little high, is that right? Doesn't seem like much resolution... actually thinking about it, it shouldn't matter since a 1.0V is lowest you want to see at idle anyway.

So we can use rom editor or nismotronic to modify these numbers in order to switch to these maf right?
Also would we have to modify these numbers to run these blow thru?
I'm switching to the lightning maf so i'm just trying to cover all bases.

Yes, you can just input the values for whatever maf you are running and in NismoTronic you can use the SAVE MAF button to add it to your drop down MAF list.

I will be adding all the maf tables that I have to the program, but some of the vq tables I have do not match some that are posted here. The N60 in particular, but it is close.

All of the VQ tables I have I pulled directly from stock rom files that run the particular maf.

I have had the flu for the past 5 days now, so I haven't been able to post much as I haven't even had my desktop computer turned on!

If you have Nismotronic then use that, otherwise TunerPro or Nistune. I wouldn't touch RomEditor in this day and age .




The N60 values are straight from Calum's tune. But it's very possible that it's wrong because the E60 values where wrong, which caused me to lift them from an actual Maxima bin.

Now are the voltages all the same? Maybe the actual voltage reference is different .

The voltage look up is the same as normal.

I just re-wrote how nismotronic holds the vq table data. It now all gets stored as separate ".vqd" files in a MafData folder.

This way I can update the vqd files a lot easier and it will allow users to more easily share their created vq curves and I can keep the list as current as possible without anyone losing data when upgrading.

I can even make it auto update the vq table files each time I make changes, that way everyone can stay up to date on the new curves.

Sweet that's a good idea, make it easier to give someone a specific VQ table too.

Now I don't see why you would need to update the current VQ tables once you get them in, its not like those values really need to be tweaked . But as for updating to get new MAF's, that would be sweet

The reason for updating the tables or saving new mafs would be if you do a blow through setup or bore your current maf out, etc.

The auto update part will just download the new mafs that are not in your directory, it will not overwrite any of the current files that you might have in there.

I was also checking out some of the other curves you have listed, it seems a good many of them have errors.

When I get done converting all my files over I will post them up.

Ah in that case I don't see any problems with that .

New MAF values? SWEET! I noticed when I switched from DE MAF to E60 one I lost a good amount of butt dyno power. Then went to the dyno and made a little low numbers for my mods. Year late I did find that Calum's numbers for E60 maf where off, which is probably part of the reason it ran low too.

A few things I noticed.

The DE maf you have listed is for a B14, it doesn't cover all DE mafs.

The VE maf you have listed is for the SR20VE, the SR16VE has a different VE table.

When you list the MAF, you should list the Motor and Chassis it came out of.
