There are some talks on the web about E60 being a bit better then even the Z32 in being able to linearly read the flow. E60 was on the RB25 Skylines too, which I dunno if that carries any weight.

Look at what I found though:

So they are very similar. Mind getting me the part number of your VE maf? I would like to do a more intensive search on them.

True Nistune does cover a broad range, but most people here only need it for an SR20. Don't get me wrong the Nistune software hands down is one of the best.

Hardware wise, I dunno, I keep on hearing negatives on how it uploads the bins, don't quite remember exactly but something about using consult?

No rev limit seems like an issue for all of our ECU's, though TunerCode does address that.

How much is a real time board for Nistune? I scored an OBDI RT for $450ish shipped. So it's not that bad .

22680 5J000 16ve maf part #

its only like 300~ for a nistune r/t.. that includes installation an return shipping

uploading bins can be done in the blink of an eye.. i've never had issues there.. or any issues for that matter.. an whats cool is whenever there is a problem matts pretty quick to address it

i actually brought the timing down a little when i put the n1's in.. just to be safe..

i havent had any real dyno time so i can say what kind of power i make... but i know with the 2.5" exhaust and bald STREET tires i was doing 14.3 @ 99.5

Plus the cost of the consult cable to upload the bins correct? And purchasing the software. Or do they include the Nistune software when you purchase the board? Sorry, it's been a while since I looked into the Nistune thing.

Cool... Well, Seeings as my mods are literally spot on, I'm thinking of using yours as a base. For now I have no real time, so I will just get some chips written and use safc if I see a/f too far above 12.5... Thanks dude.

N1's just came in the mail this weekend.

thats what my first one ran, then i just recently got another nistune board, took my old calum basic ecu, opened it up, took the calum board out an put the nistune board in.. uploaded a bin an was good to go..

I use both Calum and Nistune ECU's everyday. They both get the job done but the Nistune is just a step ahead.

Good to know, I might pickup a Nistune for my daily just to compare it to an RT.

Good question about the consult cable, I was curious about too. Purchasing software is nothing new though. You can use TunerPro RT for free with Nistune too, just don't know if TunerPro can directly upload the bin.
