here is my modded bin. vadims n60 vq table, lower maf enrichment trigger (.90 vs 1.00) and 8000 rev limit.

at the end of this thread he states that the j60 and n60 have different "maps"
rb25 (j60) maf install on ka24de : KA24ET / KA24DET Forum

tried this bin it definitly runs smoother, but the afr's are lean at wot throttle. like 14-15.3. I don't know what to try on that since i only have a basic.

don't use this bin i'm deleting it. too lean.

so vadim has replied and this bin i made has the correct vq. i'm hoping to have it burned and installed this week and we will see what the change is.

ok so the injector multiplier is the same as before but the maf translations different, interesting..

i compared it to calums ve inj n60 maf bin and the maf translations the same but the injector multipliers different..

then i went to the change maf thing an it comes up as the ECR33-rb25det maf.. same as the calum one.. so why would the injector multipliers be different?

seems Some calums stuff was off, maybe why so many people have stupid issues..

So what have we learned? Well when using nistune to change the maf and you want a n60 use the ECR33-rb25det one! lol

and that makes since cause i read that the n60 was ussed on SOME skylines, so i was right then. and the kvalue should be diffrent cause of the tune.

http://www.sr20-forum.com/416312-post9.html to add to the confusion on k-value

find k value with maf change= Old K-value X (old inj/new inj) X (new MAF hp/old MAF hp)

with that equation:
31,206 x (259/333) x (325/250) = 31553

So just multiply your K value by 1.14 and see what that does for you

so today i tried the bin on post http://www.sr20-forum.com/669509-post192.html and it runs good as hell but it's lean 13.5-15 at certain points. but the k value is higher than all the other bins i have?

Edit!!!
i think i know why. on the original alfred bin the k-value is 27878. so that should be a good k value for that tune on 333cc injectors, so that's the first part of the k value calculation 31206x(259/333)= new k. so to change the maf, you need to use the new vq table and instead of making a new k-value you should take the k-value allready on that tune and multiply that by the second half of the k-value calc for when you change maf's. So on the original alfred bin the k-value is 27878, so given this theory 27878x(325/250)=36241. which would be a higher k-value then the bin lynch modded with the wrong vq table. lynch's k-value is 33453which in turn should richen the whole map up. which should get rid of my new lean condition.

Does that make any sense?

really all my theory is based on math. and there are more bins with the k-value at 27878 with 333cc injectors then anything else.

and here is the new bin with the new k-value. that should fix my issue.
