JWT or Calum ECU:
Hi. I came across a 96' B14 with a SR20VE. I wanted a price quote on a ECU for it, with I/H/E 2.5 inches. VE manifold, Injectors, etc. I wanted to know how does this work; if I have to send my ECU in or I just buy one off of you guys. Let me know, thanks!

You're looking for a JWT ECU or a Calum ECU?

JWT and Calum are not one in the same. Two different companies...

I'm still trying to understand the difference between JWT ECU and the Calum ECU. I've tried to find some info but didn't get too far.

Spend the money on a JWT. Its worth the extra money to get good customer service and know that help is only a phone call away.

Anyway all you need to do is find a calum B14 ecu and have someone burn you a set up rom chips for a base map.

i personally went with the calum basic(around 150shipped), if you ever need it to be reprogramed its only like $10 for the reburn or what ever(you ship your ECU to calum and he will ship you your ECU reprogrammed). i had a jwt(about 500new) and when ever you want to get it reprogrammed its $100...

as far as CS Calum is one guy that does ECUs for us very cheap, JWT is a company with multiple pleople doin their thing.....but thats another story
