Thank you guys, I take that as a compliment. But you must keep in mind, it looks clean because it was just spray painted. The reality of it is, this car is (was) a beater. The list of stuff we had to do to make this car track worthy would top most of the amounts I see these cars selling for here on this forum. Make no mistake about it, when it was bought, it was a rusty sub $500 bucket. It has 240K miles on the original motor, trans, and (prior to the race) clutch as well. The car didn't rev above 2K RPMs, the exhaust manifold was leaking because the studs were torn out and threads crossed, the gas tank was rusted and leaking, the struts were shots, brake calipers and pins completely wasted, ball joints, bushings and end links completely shot, CV joint boot torn, alternator dead, emergency brakes not working... and that's just what I can come up with off the top of my head, before you consider regular maintenance like belts, fluids, brake rotors, pads and etc. Needless to say, there's a reason we picked this car. This thing was a monster for the 14 hours we beat on it. And it also has a cool back story, as this car was originally mine before I sold it in 2005 and then got it back in 2012. Here she is back in 2005:
