Car was driving really strong and fast on the track! Looking forward to more stuff in the future. Hope you get the transmission situation fixed.

Yeah Scott, I figured it was a clutch issue as to loose all gears would be something on the order of an atomic bomb going off in your gearbox! Gearbox (and casing) would be in a million pieces if all gears failed in such a manner

Car sounds good and sorry you had to rebuild the gearbox anyways . What gearbox were you on and what are you going with next??

Thanks guys!

Not sure at the moment what the next step is. We need to evaluate and find out where the true problem lies...if the transmission needs to be replaced completely or if it can be rebuilt. its a 2002 G20 5 speed transmission...not exactly easy to find these days. I have found one at a wrecking yard for $650...so once we get the transmission out...we can make the final decision on what to do next.

Still on the list of things to do before the next race...

1. upgrade to wider wheel/tire setup. The 225's just weren't cutting it. Will be going to a 275/40/17 front and 255/40/17 rear
2. Finish Tune -- Tune for every 500 rpm through the entire band, 100 oct plus water/Meth, and tune for dual stage boost controller...steering wheel mounted booyah button!
3. Fix Transmission
4. Relocate coolers and add ducting...we have too many things going on up front and our oil temps were stupid hot...so we need to move the cooler to the other side
5. Modify hood with some leuvers to release heat and create some downforce.
6. New GT-250 Wing from APR Performance being installed as we speak.
7. Flat bottom to complete after everything else
8. Most importantly...i need some seat time to work on the loose nut behind the wheel!

Wait, I am pretty sure I (as well as Nate/@wnwright) mentioned this exact same thing in your other thread

. I knew it was only a matter of time as these cars are so tightly packed and have soo much going on up front when a heat pump is introduced!
