I would say its worth atlease 20 degrees cooler. With the grill my temp gauge shows 230-235 when doing a lap. Without the grill it stays around 205-210. Behind my grill there is nothing blocking the rad so it allows more airflow to cool things down.

hmm, I'm assuming you mean the opposite of what you said? It runs 230 WITH it in and 205 WITHOUT the grill. Right?

Also, are you running the stock grill?

Correct sorry for the confusion

I was running a stock 95 grill at the time, Currently I have the Lucino grill which I believe blocks more air.

Ya I think it does block more air. I'm surprised you got a 20 degree drop by taking off the stock grill. That's good news, however, as that's something I want to try next time I'm at the track. Unfortunately I don't have an aftermarket water temp gauge but I should be able to tell the car's cooling better based off a few other things.

Yea it definitely does help. I've run back to back with the grill on/off to see a difference. My old grill was held on by zip-ties so it was easy on/off but the Lucino grill not trying to break the clips can be a pain to do.

I learned this method reading a simalar thread a while back.

I wonder if my having a home made mesh grill is why my car runs cooler then my friends even tho we have the same radiator setup..
