2008 Road Race Schools in Montreal and Ottawa
Well, this is it. I was in charge of event logistics at our first road race school of the season this past weekend. With the flooding issues I had over the past week at my house, it definitely felt good to spend the weekend at the track.
As always, I was able to do a few laps during the lunch break, when the track is open to instructors. This is the track we were at:
It is a small (1.2 km) but fun track to have as a home track. The good news is that the car is still running strong with the VE.
I may have pics of the actual event shortly.
Next weekend, we are going to Calabogie for an Ontario school. It's the first time I'll be doing logistics there, and it's a much longer track, and is brand new from last year. Can't wait.
It is 5.05 km of close to "virgin" tarmac
Is anybody from Ontario on this forum coming?
