SE-R Race Car Questions
I've decided to build my 91 SE-R into a race car.
First things first, are they any weaknesses on the SE-R that should be taken care of? What I mean by this is do any cooling system components frequently fail, head gaskets? Anything?
Secondly, what's the "good" suspension most SE-R racers use? Any special setup tips? Anything wrong with a good ol' Koni/Ground Control setup?
In case you've taken that as a spoon feeding question, it's not, just looking for other SE-R racers/frequent track day drivers and what fails, if anything. I've done some reading, I've even tracked this one, just looking to meet some new people on here and get some friendly input.
Example how civil people who share a common interest speak:
Person A: Well I personally use X and X and love it, blah blah blah."
Person B: Really? I've heard this and that, I use X and X but it's just too blah blah for my liking."
Person A: SRs are great motors, just keep up with blah blah and it will be fine.
Person B: After five years of racing one I had to blah blah blah.
At least that's how it works in my head and on other sites/conversations I've had.
