I think that Vex is saying that the tracks in FL with the exception of Sebring just don't have a lot of character. Daytona is cool, just because it is Daytona but once you have been around there a few times the aura sort of fades and then you are just at a track that is almost impossible to pass on without having straight line speed on the other guy. The only real gut check turn is the kink in the infield and yu need to have a Trans-Am kind of car for that to be any challenge. Homestead is a bit similar from what I can see. The new Palm Beach (nee Moroso) is about as boring looking as two drag strips connected by two turns can be. Roebling looks fun but I haven't been there yet. Maybe next year.

RR is a fun little track, especially for a Miata :-)

I almost got a Miata. I should have lol.

Also, PBIR is boring. I had more fun driving my car through the curvy roads in the Virginia mountains in the rain.

1) This set didn't last us as long as our prior set because Milwaukee Mile is VERY hard on tires and these saw 3 days worth of Milwaukee Mile w/6 30 minute sessions a day, then 4 days at Waterford Hills (2 days but 2 people driving so double stinted) and then 1 day at Autobahn Full track and the final day was at Grattan when they corded like that.

2) I like the newer C51 compound for better stick BUT these are nice and longer lived on FWD if you don't use them at Milwaukee Mile so overall bang for the buck was very good! Compared to the 211s these had slightly better stick and slightly longer lasting overall.

3) Yeah it is indeed a hard compound to wear down because our previous set was overheatcycled BEFORE even getting to cords ..lol

Hankook RS-2 (Z212).. is it the one which did last for long?

No they were the Z212 R compound tires. The RS2 is a street tire....
