Thread: Cords? Of course I drive to cords .. and then some!!!!

Proper job! Did you like the 212's? Did you ever have a pair of 211's, if so how did they compare to other brands of r compounds?

C30! Wow, that's a hard compound to wear down. You must be running on the edge all of the time!

To answer everyone's questions:

1) This set didn't last us as long as our prior set because Milwaukee Mile is VERY hard on tires and these saw 3 days worth of Milwaukee Mile w/6 30 minute sessions a day, then 4 days at Waterford Hills (2 days but 2 people driving so double stinted) and then 1 day at Autobahn Full track and the final day was at Grattan when they corded like that.

2) I like the newer C51 compound for better stick BUT these are nice and longer lived on FWD if you don't use them at Milwaukee Mile so overall bang for the buck was very good! Compared to the 211s these had slightly better stick and slightly longer lasting overall.

3) Yeah it is indeed a hard compound to wear down because our previous set was overheatcycled BEFORE even getting to cords ..lol

Man I want to run the road course at Millauwakee Mile. Too bad I live in FL. Tracks suck here except for sebring

Although I would love to drive Roebling road its way far. I had the most fun in Texas driving my gfs cousins SM prepped car at MSR and MSR Houston. Crazy fun.
