June 26th is def out for me, we have a really big show at the Dome on Saturday. We are going for the 2 day Aug 1-2. I am trying to nail down a price for the group rate.

I dont think I am gonna be able to make either-I close on my new house the 30th of June so all my time the week before will be spent moving stuff in.
August first I will be just getting off the plane on my trip back from Hawaii.

That is the only two things that can hold me back from a track day.... Oh well thats life.

Not a bad price for $190. I remember Roebling being close to 100 dollars more expensive for a NASA sat and sunday.

I'm working on my shell at the moment. Maybe I can get it ready by August 1st and 2nd.

Since Joe has brought up track days. Maybe a regular crew of southeast track day guys will sprout up. There are a fair number of tracks down here. Roebling, Road Atlanta, Barber, CMP, and VIR. There are several organizations that put on the track events as well. I'm sure plenty of track time can be found for those that want to participate.

Ok, I just spoke with Jon and for a group of 5 or more we can get $20 off. This makes it $170 solo or $220 with an instructor for 1 day. There is also going to be a weekend rate if you take both days. He was going to check and drop me an email when he got home, but he was thinking it was $25-30 off if you took both days. Once I get that information confirmed I will post it up.

I know Kimme and I have pledged to do our best to get at least 2 more track days in this year. In addition to this weekend at Roebling, we are eying up the MVP Track Time event at VIR on September 7-8. It's $350 for 2 days on the full course.

I received an email from Jon this morning. 2 days at Roebling Road will be $290 solo or $340 with driver education, IF we can get a group of 5 or more people. So far we have 2 - Kimme and me. Is anyone else interested?

I really want to go and should be able to make it, but I won't be able to 100% confirm until later this summer.

I want in on the AUgust track day. Any body else a 99% person for this thing. If I could get in the group rate it would be even sweeter.

I'm gonna try hard to get my shell track worthy. If it isn't I"ll just use a rental, but I'm definitely trying to get in on this. Happynole, let me know when the money has to be in by and who I should pay.

Great deal Joe, wish I was closer and not running elsewhere that weekend. I liked RR a lot and it's a fast yet pretty safe track.

As for RR being hard on cars, psssft! Don't start that thread again and scare people off from a good deal. That sort of event would be more like $400 most places in the NE.

My motor is bone stock inside, just bolt ons, good ECU tune, and a good cooling system, good maintenance, I've put down now well over 800 track miles since RR in March w/o any glitches, just oil changes and brake pads, rotors. Oh, and a B14 PS reservoir, man I was tired of mopping up PS fluid.

Ran 4 x 60 minutes on a very fast NJMP course in May, yes a full hour each session times four plus TT, a class win.

This track is much harder on the car than RR, with SE-R avg lap speeds @85 mph, extended sweepers, large elevation changes, 125-130 mph straight into a uphill RH turn, RR is not hard on cars as tracks go. Same distance at NJMP, 2 miles, so figure out how hard an 80 mile session is non-stop on your car, when you run it in one hour at 6500-7500 rpm 9/10ths of the course. Then repeat 3 more times same day with no holding back 3 laps TT thrown in.
