intresting, but does'nt thinner oil like 10w30 get very thin at higher temps therefore using thicker oil would be better to run?

I do not have a problem. I will be switching to 0-30 Mobil 1. I will be willing to try the 0-20 too. You just have to trust in the oil you choose to use.
BTW Nissan says it's Ok to use 20-40 or 20-50 above 60*F ambient, but recommends and prefers 5w-30 for all conditions. Use what you feel comfortable with.

oil cooler+thinner oil=ftw

You can run without a cooler, but you will prob need a thicker oil too keep film strength. Synthetics do better at maintaining film strength even in high temps. On the beating I am about to lay down on the car I am going to use Mobil 1 15w50. I got this stuff for $10/gallon so I picked it up. It is really a 10w40 according to the VOA.

Castrol 0w30 is amazing. wear results on that oil are really good.
