looking at the goodridge website, it looks like the lines are ptfe coated.

Which means what?

it's coated, I have a set at home. will take a picture to help out.

PTFE is a teflon coating on the inside of the SS braided line to aide in fluid flow.

Ah, on the inside. You don't by chance have anything coated on the outside (over the stainless) do you?
