UR pulleys are awesome. Shame I can't use the UR crank pulley I have on my DE for a VE motor. I'd recommend UR pulleys to anyone with a DE or DET block. I don't run the WP or PS pulley because I dont have a mechanical water pump or a PS pump. But if I did I would go with UR.

high hp high tq motors imho spit the belts off due to the short wall on the aft pulleys. this happened to me on my 10:1 motor and caused rod knock. well i had to drive home so i said **** it time to upgrade.
stratton.
Ive seen a DD 423 WTQ FWD SR20 with UR pulleys. Its never popped a belt. It's broken trannies and a few axles before but never popped a belt. Belts pop off because
A) People overtighten them.
B) People don't tighten them enough.
or
C) An accessory pulley seizing up causing the belt to break apart.
Rod knock didn't happen because your belt fell off. Ive had a belt snap before due to a pulley seizing up. No rod knock here. I was smart enough not to drive without a water pump.
