6 Speed Flywheel Adapter with 350Z Clutch
Thinking about doing a run of these but need to know if there is any interest in them.
Bolts to the factory flywheel, or preferably a lightened version of it. The adapter weighs 10lbs and is fully balanced. Uses a 350z clutch set up that does require some grinding on the bell housing. This is the prototype and can be made just a hair smaller to avoid as much grinding. You should be able to hold 650hp/500lbft on a single disk with this size clutch. In the end this is a much cheaper route than going with a smaller KA twin disk for high hp applications. If you're not looking for serious power then this is probably not the set up for you. However, you can use the factory Spec V clutch set ups with this as well, which may not require as much grinding.
We're looking at around a $350 price point on this. The clutch pictured is a 350z clutch set up that works great with this and is rated at over 500lbft. Comes as pictured with pressure plate, clutch disk, Spec V throw out bearing, and alignment tool. It is unsprung and can be had for $400 through us.
