Let's Talk Catch Cans
What is the perfect size catch can and what features would everyone like to see?

Here's a 5"x5"x5" being finished up.

Tell me what you guys think of these. The second one fits in a similar location to the one you posted Storm.

Nice, I just don't like them with breathers. Two inputs (both vc ports) and one drain port to crank case is best. Then one port on the filtered side to intake is what I would love to see.

That's not a problem Brent. Would be a little cheaper as well.

To do that it would have to be on driver side I think. No clean way to handle it really without running hoses.

Right now I have two saikou michi cans, each has a drain that I have to manually operate. Both have one input and one output. The first can handles PCV evacuation back to intake manifold. The second can handles VC output by Dizzy and outputs to the intake pipe. The crank case port goes to the VC (I have a 20v VC). The system stays sealed, both cans are filtered. The PCV side has a one way valve to block boost pressure from getting to the crank case.

What I don't like about these saiku michi cans, the barb fittings are huge and force the can to take up too much space. They are very tall due to the top port and drain port. My favorite is the Radium Engineering setup: Universal Dual Catch Can Kit They are the best of the best. However, I don't feel the need for threaded ports/dip stick/CNC Billet and so on. All those are nice, but add to cost. $300 was a lot higher than the $160 I spent on my two sans. I think something right in the middle around 225 that filters, has a compact size and proper port count would be awesome.

I actually have a self draining version on my DET. Those are some very interesting pieces though.

I can build whatever you guys want, don't be afraid to ask.
