Time slip from convention. Loving that 60' time in the right lane with stock bushings and struts. This was done with the single adjustment bars shown above.

Shout out to #PERFORMANCEPLUS! These traction bars allow me to lauch hard on the street! I mean real hard! Put it this way, They used to say, "1st gear is useless on a VE" I beg to differ. Good job brotha!

On a side note.

IN MY OPINION: the car handles extremely well to the point I don't realize they are there (which is good) I've taken a lot of corners both low and high speed etc. When removing the front say bar like a lot of individuals do, it allows more oversteer which is true. At the same time you get a better steering response as well and so forth. Well, with the TBars Equipped, you get that except less sloppyness during suspension transfer.

I tested them from 25 inches (where its been) to 23.25 inches (where it's now) measuring from fender to floor ride height. This way I can get a great feedback on suspension for most users and their different ride height. The non adjustable bar that I have sits 3.25 inches from the ground and has not scrapped at all at height I am at which is the lowest I will take my car. I am rolling on good progress (mono) suspension with 16x8 RPF1's hugging on 205 45 Federal RSR 595's.

With my 16x8's the inner rim rubs the bar at 90% turning radius
when I'm making a "U" Turn. You "most likely" won't rub on 7 inch wide rims. (Haven't comfirmed yet)

Ive gotten a handfull of PM's inquiring about them on facebook so I figured I'd re-share a great product and my personal feedback.

I will be hitting the strip soon to see my 60ft times next.

Do these work with a sway bar?

No, they do not.

What are these for?

They don't just look cool, they keep your lower control arm from flexing under a hard load and keep your tires from unloading.

What are the adjustments for?

Think of it this way. There are two planes of motion on your lower control arm. Front/back and up/down. As you increase the angle at which the traction bar sits, it is going to help the front suspension from unloading as badly. You are, in a sense, chaining down your control arms. Stiff springs in the rear can only do so much. However, there will be a point where the tires plant too hard and just spin or where they don't plant hard enough when the suspension unloads. These allow you to fine tune for your particular set up.

What do you mean "unload?"

When the front suspension unloads, we are referring to the way that a fwd car stands up in the front end when it launches. This causes you to lose your contact patch on the tires and causes you to spin or even wheel hop.

Can you preload the control arms?

Absolutely. When the car is jacked up with the wheels off of the ground the arms are at an angle which is a shorter distance. As the front suspension is loaded the traction bars become a straighter angle which will in turn preload the control arms.

How much ground clearance will I have?

These on a car with a 1.5" drop still have 2" of ground clearance. If you're worried about clearance we do have traction bars that are a set adjustment.

Prices are as follows:

Adjustables: $300 a set
Brackets only: $150

Fixed: $200 a set

Both will come with installation instructions, hardware, and a lifetime warranty.

Why not hemi joints on the bushing end?

They're doable but the idea was to keep cost and ease of installation to a minimum. Can just bolt these on and go.
