Try to make one in plastic and test to see if temps are lower. I know the CF one is more resistant to heat then the metal one but if its cheaper to make its faster to sell.

We cant do plastic forming. It all depends on the set-up in the car though. I know that joes white b13 will put some ridiculous heat, it would definitely help his car.

Yes the bottom is open so it can get fresh air and you can also run a CAI as well.
