Thread: Air Intake Boxes

As I am waiting on more parts to be cut for the control arms we thought we would work on an Air Intake Box. Alot of you guys like to run the velocity stack on the end of a warm air intake. Well a warm air intake is only so good, especially here in Florida where it can get to 100* for more than half the day. We know it will fit an NX with a VE. If you think it will fit a DE then you can try it but no guarantees. WE are using what looks to be like factory air intake mounting holes to brace the box.

The current box will run $99 un coated and Aluminum

A Box similar to this but powder coated will run $135

A box like this made of FULL CF, will run $189.99

The boxes are made to order so please allow a couple days for fabrication and a couple extra if you order Powder Coating.

Yes this is a box that will cover your filter from the heat in your engine bay. Alot of times when the header is exposed, without being wrapped it can produce enough heat to kill your IAT's on a WAI. This box made from aluminum or CF will help keep the IAT's down by a minimum of 20+ degrees.

You can run a duct from the bumper to the hole most of us have from a CAI to put fresh air right there. I forgot to mention the price. It makes me want me one and I'm selling my B13 which is turbo so that makes no sense.
