A little confused about the which camber plates on the website
Sorry I am a little lost with all of the options you guys have on your web site. I am going be buying some in the future and I am trying to figure out exactly what I need. It would be great if yall could help me figure in out.

I have Progress coil overs and nothing else, I don't want any bumpstops. So what should I be ordering from you folks and if you know off hand what do I need to get from Progress (most of the stuff they set for cam/castor plates is lost somewhere

Thanks

Best thing to get will be the top hats. Your factory top hats are probably worn.even if not its a bolt on kit from us. If you use the progress hats you might have to modify them.

Ok that helps narrow things down. So why do you have the option for top or bottom mounts? Do they both have the same adjust-ability or is there going to be less in the top plates but more suspension travel? Also I am going to need to notch the strut towers for full camber?

How about the rear mounts, how do they adjust exactly? The picture is small is that just a generic picture?

If they're anything like any of the other plates out there, the top mounts can't be used with OE diameter springs, only 2.25 or 2.5 ERS springs.

How much camber do you want to run?

I have Progress coilovers those should work right?

I was hoping for around 3*-3.5* based on what some others have said. What do you suggest?

I was following the development of these plates a while back. They are somewhat different than the GC plates as they mount top side of the strut tower or something along those lines. I haven't seen any up close so I am a little lost.

The GC plates don't give you as much travel as ours do and there units you have to notch out the car a lot more because of that. Also they are a little more expensive.

That's alot for a street car, esp a turbo car. I'd stick closer to 2-2.5.

I don't understand what the amount of travel has to do with notching the tower. If anything I would think it would require more notching if you've moved the mounting point upward.

Thanks Blair I will keep that in mind. That does make good sense. I was planning to switch back and forth to stock for an auto-x or two (if that day ever comes :o I have to make a different exhaust before they will let enter. It exits in the wrong place right now. )

Remember that it will have to be aligned everytime.

Where does your exhaust exit now?
