Thread: Tubular front control arms

We should have this one on the NX by the end of the week, or latest first thing of next week. We will more than likly put a stud or something for the sway bar. Putting a hole that big does not make me to satisfied. We will have more pics later this week.

Pre-orders will be taken once the test fit and road test goes through ok. I would see it being no more than 2 weeks away. We will offer 5% discont for pre-orders.

Just my 2 cents on studs for the sway bars: some of the aftermarket sway bars mount different then others. I know I use a NISMO one (relabeled ST bar) and it mounts different than the stock or Progress one. 'Course, I haven't looked at them all mounted up so I'm not 100% sure how it will all work out. As long as all/any sway bar will work I will be cool with it.

Also, and once again not 100% sure on this, I think the lengths of the B13/NX control arm and the B14 are slightly different (I know they are different part numbers). Might be something to keep in mind when test fitting on just an NX. I would maybe see if you could get a B14 in for a test fit as well. Maybe find a length in the middle of the two, and thus allowing still a good amount of adjustment with the in/out of the bearing bolt.

If you can promise me that these would work with my Progress front sway bar I will be ready to pre-order these next week once I get paid. 5% discount is fine with me !

If the stock hole in the arm works for all we can just sleeve it after its drilled.

I am not sure on this or the right person to ask. I am buying these to install on a project car that won't be put together for some time.

If it eases your mind, the car he is using for fabrication has Progress bars

The set of arms that i sent are for the B14 so you can compare those to the B13/NX.

Thats perfect. I was gonna ask what there from. I got the tube end welded on today, just waiting on supplies for the ball joint.
