Thread: Tubular front control arms

I didn't see the price listed anywhere what will be the price for pre-order and then after production starts?

I am unsure what I posted a while back but I think it was in the range of $350-400. Pre price will be probably $375-base, and $400 Base (not Pre-order) and then you will be able to add coatings and what not to the price.

are they made from regular mild steel or stainless?

I wont make control arms out of SS, that's just dangerous. Here are some progress pics as promised . We know that the ball joint adapter is made of aluminum, we did it for testing, please don't ask if they will be aluminum. Also these are not the final product pics.

how would ss be dangerious

Stainless does not have a grade to it. You know if you go to the store and get a bolt for your car and lets say is a 10.9, well stainless has no classification. Stainless, even though a steel is not a strong enough material to use for such an application.

These look great guys just let me know when and where to send my money.

We should have these on the car and the car driving by Friday. If all test go well we will start taking pre-orders Friday night.

I am going to pick up a set regardless. I may want to wait until I see some longer term tests tho.
