I think Andreas Miko made a Oil Pan for his FWD 2.3L VE motor.

sits the same height as the stock unit and fits an xtra 1.5 qts more oil.

Well, this is what I know from the different pumps. The GTiR and Ve pumps are higher flow pumps, with larger pickup tubes. They both have vastly improved flow designs to prevent pump cavitation at higher rpms. The VE is the best design.

There is an oil starvation issues with the SR? I'm not sure I believe this is the #1 cause of failure. These cars have been heavily tracked for 15 years, this weak point would have been sorted out by now?

Has anyone asked questions about which oil was being used at the time of the failures at the convention? Seems like this year there were a lot more failures.

A little bit of this may be attributed to the stock oil pump and higher rpms, but I doubt it was oil starvation from cornering G forces. I could be wrong, but I have taken corners at Gs higher than .95 and have not had an issue with oil pressure dipping AT ALL. Both with a stock DET pump, and on my VE-T with a GTiR pump. Perhaps this is a real issue that needs to be solved, or maybe I am rambling. I just don't get all the failures.

it kinda die, the cost of the custom pan was out of everyones budget. The scrapers were the next best option. If needed I can get a gb together to get a discount for us.

Direct drain from the bottom of pan. I hate flushing a quart through every time I perform a oil change. There is almost quarter of a quart stuck on the bottom oil pan at each change.

I'm down for a scraper GB if there is enough interest... otherwise i'll be ordering one next month anyway.

Another thing to consider besides brand and grade of oil would be how many were watching oil temps or even have an oil temp gauge. If your oil thins out too much due to too much heat, it doesnt matter if you have a huge baffled pan and 5 sets of crank scrapers. I think people need to watch their oil temps with a gauge and watch oil pressure while tracking their cars. Also most people dont bother running an oil cooler which could help fight bearing falure as well.

I am thinking of adding an oil cooler ....
