Turbo Inlet Intake
Lets start to figure out the dimensions on the piping

I believe the request was for 3" piping. Not sure if they are relying on the APT Turbo 3" turbo inlet adapter (for the T25/T28 turbos) or if they had a 3" turbo inlet to begin with. Guys?

Couldnt I just use a stepped dia piece of silicone?

It would more than likely have to interface with the two bolt flange of the turbo inlet, or you can maybe assume people are running the GTi-R two bolt inlet pipe?

I'll look for pics, hang on.

I myself will be using a 2.5-3.0 transition coupler. for the inlet. I am looking for 3in pipe. With a big nipple for recirculation. approximently 34mm. also either clears the battery or around it

You are going to run into people with OEM style T2 flanged turbos running one of these three:

2 bolt inlet adapter Flange GT25/28/28RS, alum: atpturbo.com

Inlet Adapter 3" racing , for GT28R and other 2 bolt Garrett Housings: atpturbo.com

And then people with non OEM style turbos with varying sized inlets.

Oh, the T25 is different from the T28 in that way?

Sorry for the confusion.

So it's just a 2.5" inlet waiting for a coupler to be clamped on?
