I am not going to use the adapter, I am going to offer it with stepped silicone couplers.

Does anyone know of someone around the Orlando area that would stop by?? I dont want to make these like three times.

I am sure alot of people would be interested in a quality alum. i/c piping and intake kit. Jgy sells theirs for an arm and a leg, and with them its a hit or miss as far as shipping and fitment. The only problem would be how many different set ups people are running, like gtir, bb, avenir, low port highport, etc..

Those welds look very good.

highports gtir or avenir will have the same cold side, and pretty much hot all the way till you get to the turbo to make it go up or stay down same with the lowport.

I know, most people have a t28 or t25 so they will need a 3 bolt pipe on the hot side unless they are gonna use the stock one. In either case it could be pointing downward like the avenir or facing up like the bb, if they want to use thier turbo outlet. Also is the abs box in the way on b13's or b14's like on the g20's on the pass side behind the headlight? I havent ever seen any b13's or b14's with abs so i dont know exactly where the box is located.

So i would think a lowport kit would need to be made for lowport/gtir apps. And a highport kit would need to be made for people running the highport intake manifold. So if thats the case depending on the way the piping is routed you would need a few different styles of intake pipes, which has already been said.

I wouldnt bother with making an ebay style 1 i/c kit fits all. If your going to make a quality kit get rid of some of the couplers and use more piping.

What kind of time frame are we talking about to get a 3" intake pipe made? I'd be willing to make the drive to Orlando on a weekend if I can get one that will fit good in 3".

I also have an HS compressor outlet pipe that loops down (known as the candy cane pipe), people always look for this, if you'd be interested in making a similar one, I have it available.

Ill check to see if we can accommodate a weekend. I would have to work something out with my welder. If I have to fab anything then it might have to be sent to you but if we can make it out of components then I dont see a problem with it.

Agreed with insane, definitely less couplers and more piping would be great, less chance of popping one of and leaks!

And a thing with the intake pipes I noticed is that the 2.5" runs into the block with a gti-r manifold and the gt28r turbo, with the piping, but I have a longer coupler that I use that runs on the other side of where it hits and you hook the piping in there.
