We took care of this by flaring the end of the pipe about 6 inches, that way you can slide the pipe in and out to fit.

NICE! I was wondering about this also. Would really like to know the fitment with the 3" over the rear axle though :/

I have been investigating this and comparing prices between VRS and Overkill Engineering one.

Here is where it was brought up. No offense intended to the original poster, just point out what I have discovered.

Here I will be comparing 3" Aluminized with no muffler.

Overkill:

Now Blair did bring up the VRS Piping Kit, that is a great way to go if you weld yourself or if you can get it welded cheap. Otherwise it's just pipes and flanges, etc. (Price is about $180 shipped).

Ha I dint even know that the piping kits from VRS weren't welded with flanges, hangers, etc...

Flanges and hangers are nice.

VRS doesn't sell without the muffler I believe

did i read that you are making a 3in exhaust for a NX? can i request a Vibrant black Street power muffler and a Vibrant ultra quiet resonator? Assuming the exhaust wont rattle on anything on a lowered car. Can you PM me with a price if its possible? thanks
