Your Nx experince with Cooling Or Overheated
Ok,

Im wondering since the nx seems to have issues when turbo and some seemed to have issue without been turbo'd I wanted to start this thread just to see around what is the most common ways . Please answer the number questions below....

1.) Do you have the black piece under the motor that it orginially had (suppose to help the air flow)???

2.)When you had higher tempt/over heated-where you driving hard? Also what was the outside tempts? or you never had any issues at all?

3.) Where you Running a Koyo or any other type of upgraded radiator??

4.) Do you have slim fans or fan ?upgraded fans or fan?? also do you know the cfm(this will help) of them?

5.) What type of radiator fluid 50/50, water wetter, etc.?

6.) Stock water pump or upgraded? EWP(electric water pump what model)

7.) Upgrade thermostat from a stock unit?

8.) Any other comments related to your cooling issues or no issues.

I believe one of your questions should be whether or not the car is turbo'd. That being said I've never had any problems at all with overheating.

my car used to overheat bad, when doing freeways pulls, this was with stock t-stat, stock cap and stock radiator, 70water 20coolant mix, and stock radiator, it has been around 95degrees this summer, and it hasnt overheat yet, all i did was change to a spal 10in fan, and put a nismo cap no overheating problems now

My car over heats if i let it sit and run for over 10mins from cold start or 8ish mins after driving. I have a nismo thermostat, koyo radiator with nismo cap, aftermarket fans and i'm just using 50/50 coolant. I also have the bluebird turbo setup.

when i first did my turbo install i noticed the temp. would raise a little bit. After that happened, all i did was remove my thermostat and never heated up again. Bluebird setup, everything else stock. But its always hot in florida

When my t25 powered nx (with ac condenser removed) no plastic, was top mounted and running 50/50 on hot days or with heavy boost on warmer days I would have problems every now and then, i would have to turn the fan and heater on.

Then with the front mount, straight water and water wetter, stock fans and everything else no problems.

Now with a big hole in the hood (rad exhaust) and some ducting the cars oil temp sits at 160 or so in 70 degree weather. It takes a good 5 miles to get up to that temp too

I havent had any overheating issues with mine. No black plastic, Turbo, 50/50 w 1 bottle water wetter, nismo thermostat, stock radiator, nismo cap, stock wp and pulley, deralle s blade fans on toggle switch i think they are like 880cfm ea. The only time i ever had a problem was being stuck in traffic on a 80+ deg. day, but i just flip the fans on and the temps stay where they normally are at. I never saw the temps climb up even when road racing.

After finally installing am oil temp gauge its crazy how fast oil temps can climb on a hot day when racing. With the oil cooler installed the oil temps stay pretty low. I havent ran with the koyo yet and now i have an aftermarket water temp gauge.
