Non powered steering rack install
Is the some one here that has installed a OEM non powered steering rack in a B13/N14 NX that original had a powered steering rack?

Ive removed my powered rack but saw that the bush to hold the rack is to big on the inside for the non powered. Whats needed here?

I have a PU set of bushes and the triangle one fits perfect but the round one is to big on the inside: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/7.10103

Yes, many have done this. They're usually sourced from a base model sentra like the 'E' model. Yes, the bushings are different (as you found out)...also the mounting tabs as well as the joint that connects the rack to the steering column are also different ...and so is the boot that connects to the firewall from the rack. You could've just looped the lines on your rack if you wanted to though. Others have removed PS then ended up adding it back on later with the addition of a larger PS cooler

I'm guessing you need to order the bushings for the car the rack came out of...like probably 1.6L Sentra E ? Not sure, maybe others that have done this will chime in.
