Thread: Leaky seals replaced by other nissan t tops and questions?

I never seen anything on here and tried to search to find the answer. Has anyone tried of know for a fact trying to retro fit other Nissan (for example z's) or other car company's with t-top seals? or has anyone have a series talk about getting set's made (non-oem):???:

Good question, I'll prob need new seals or a new door hinge since mine leaked down the drivers side window. I think my door sags tho.

I sure you could find enough people on here to do a group purchase if someone could have them made.

There was that one GB for the sentra guys. I'm sure there's more nx guys in need and willing to pay

I would definitely be down for a set but if I remember correctly, @b15azn spent $15k on the Sentra mold.

Damn thats alot But he can also alway sell it to another company if he doesn't want to continue to make them. But I never realized it cost that much to make damn. #gambler lol

To make a stuff in no issue and perfectly it involves shit loads of work and time and effort. I would offer high price then must be a reason. 15K just an entry price, I haven't even counted time and my other costs.....

In order to make these in 1:1 OEM spec then must be a brand news seals so we can make sure these work and function properly....

So you would need a new set to make them (if I understood correctly)?

I thought they stopped making or never made the seals anymore?
