Thread: NX2000 power doors on an NX1600?

Has anyone done this? I've got NX2000 doors and power windows that are paint perfect. My car is an NX1600 with manual crank windows and not so perfect paint. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this swap and if the wiring harness is all set on the NX1600 for the power windows. It looks like it is to me with a quick glance.

Yeah should be a breeze. Over here, most Nissans from that time are known to have most wiring already in the car, whether or not they make use of them. I suspect the NX1600/NX2000 aren't different from that.

But it's easy to see. Remove the panel, and if you see plugs taped somewhere, then you're all set.

Oh, BTW, 2 plugs on the driversside, 1 on the passengersside.
I suspect the NX1600 doesn't have power locks either? As this is powered through the master switchpanel of the electric windows as well.

Thanks MOJO. You're correct, the NX1600 is all manual.
When my track season is over in a month I'll be switching the doors. I'm positive all of the wiring connectors are there.

Just an update. Easiest swap ever. I didn't even need to change the fuses - window's worked perfectly!
