Thread: Fastest NX 1/4 mile time ???

I was wondering what the fastest time was a NX has been known to run ???

4.50's in the 1/4 mile, By ME....

so far 12.0 flat i believe

Kleensleeper - 12.00 @ 122mph
denske - 12.3 @ 111mph

that's the 2 i know of. they're is some that's still in the building stage that will run 11's no problems at all.

Wasn't there some caged, plexiglass windowed black NX that was fast?

I ran 12.1 at 122mph all day long when mine was turbo, that was on street tires on a unprepped track, 350whp. Was hanging out for a 11 one day, it had the power, just not the traction. The viscous lsd was spinning one wheel to about 3/4 track, but boy did it pull once the other wheel hooked up. But, then at the strip one day it got a small oil leak on the turbo feed on the block, i drove it home and pulled the engine and sold it.

ok just wondering ...I would ike to see low 11s posibly high 10s on slicks ...in this project when it is done .

Yes and I believe it supposedly hit low 10's high 9's.

Yeah that's him. He had a seperate web site for the car but I guess it's down now. I'm pretty sure he did end up running faster than the 10.5's listed on that thread.

I broke 11's in my sentra with a setup no where near the level of this car. This NX has about everything I could do to push the limits of a stock bluebird block. We will see, but I highly expect low 11's or better.
