Off topic...but has anyone ever pulled an NX headlight apart and painted some of the back housing parts black?
I know a lot of the Subaru guys do it on the GC8's and looks tough as.

Ive pulled mine and had a chance to do that but never did. The only way you can do this is either run a projector kit in your lights and then paint around the projectors or do the blacked out Golf head lights.

good luck finding them. I'm pretty sure those were the last new set stateside in that offset. They have been discontinued for some time now.
