Thread: Seat options

I would like to ditch the seats in my NX. I am not looking to put racing seat, but would like a "factory" upgrade. I know B13 seats will go in, but are there any other car manufactures that have seat that fit with little modifications?

The Spec V seats will bolt up to 3 of the 4 bolt holes with little modification. I have done this in several vehicles with no issues. You will need to swap the seat belt locks over from the NX seats I believe but these are a great upgrade for little cost if you can find a set nearby. I'm sure you could also make that 4th bolt hole work with the rail if you fabbed something up.

I'll just whore around the GTiR seats on my new (to me) NX.



Direct bolt-in and works like factory. Stiffer and cleaner than SE-R seats but probably hard to find.

I would not be comfortable with only 3 bolt holes on the seats. That can't be safe.

There's also P10 seats although I'd only do the black leather Touring seats. I have them in my G20 and they are the isht!

Yea, the GTIR seats are sweet but they aren't exactly easy to find here by any means. I was just sharing my experience with the Spec V's, I'm sure it isn't incredibly difficult to make a bracket for the rail that would allow it to be bolted down to the 4th bolt hole.

Anything is better than the heavy, ginormous WRX seats that came in my blue b14 that were only bolted in with the 2 bolts in the front I had to go to the junkyard just to get the 2 brackets that bolt down under the center console to put B13 seats back in the car. That was a horrible idea on someone's part that will go un-named.

It's probably waaaaay too early unless you get really lucky but BRZ/FRS seats could potentially be done. That's worth looking into.... I'd like to see that.

This count as a factory upgrade?

Damn those recaros would look awesome in a NX!! I know they aren't factory but i have a set of black/red Sparcos in my NX right now

Kind of a meaningless picture until you show mounted in a NX.

they are mounted in my b13. it will use the same wedge engineering brackets and sliders that come with the seats.
