Thread: I need a picture

Does anyone have a picture of their NX2000 with Golf projectors and a nice picture of the beam cut off? I want to do this project but I kinda wanna see results. Im not sure if ive seen the pattern or not. Thanks

There's absolutely no reason to do a VW Golf headlight retrofit. There are many HID retrofit options that use the stock headlights with compact projectors. The Golf hack jobs look terrible with the huge gaps and poor fit.

Yeah I went through the thread 100 times but only one picture of the beam pattern shows up. :/

Do you have some sorta write up on this?

All you have to do is "bake" the headlight to soften the glue that holds the glass to the reflector.
Remove the things that are on the inside.
Insert the projector and tighten it down(the come with everything you need, and come marked with a "top" so you dont put it upside down)
Stick it back in the oven to reuse the original glue, or reseal with some new window weld.

And there you go, projector headlights.
