Thread: Being cheap can HURT

I used the the ones from my most recent NX and put them into my beater NX that is actually driveable. I'm looking to get 2 new sets for both cars. I'd like to go OEM but the OEM piece are super expensive.

Got them installed.Works great now. Actually surprisingly once I had one new one on it stayed up on its own pretty good so I am sure with both new it wont fall .

Yeah blown hatch struts do suck ass. I bought some higher rated strong arm brand replacements from advance. Only thing I had to do was get another pivot bolt to allow the other end of the struts to attach. Those pivot bolts are M8 though vs the M6 bolts used to bolt down those brackets on the OEM struts. I just had to drill and tap, and they installed just fine. Been holding up great.
